OUR HOMEMADE CARROTCAKE
Our homemade carrot cake takes inspiration from the Norwegian kitchen. And we at Bonaca want to share our recipe with you.
Recipe:
4 eggs
3 dl sugar
3 dl wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
1 dl oil
5 dl carrot
200 g natural cream cheese
75 g of butter
150 g icing sugar
Set the oven to 170 degrees. Peel and grate the carrots.
Beat eggs and sugar to make an eggnog.
Sift together wheat flour, cinnamon and baking soda.
Pour the oil into the eggnog and mix well. Fold in the dry ingredients. Finally, add grated carrot.
Put the batter in a greased round springform pan 26 cm. Bake the cake for approx. 1 hour. Cool down.
Cream: Stir the butter and icing sugar together into a fluffy mass. Then add the cream cheese. Spread it on the cake and create a pattern with a fork.
